Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy describes how you can cancel your Viupik subscription, when the cancellation takes effect, and under which circumstances a refund is available. It forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Subscription and Billing Periods

Viupik operates through monthly or annual subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period through Stripe. The charge is applied in advance at the start of each period.

By subscribing, you expressly authorize recurring charges according to the contracted plan. This authorization remains in force until you cancel your subscription.

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:

  • From your account: go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription, and click "Cancel subscription". The cancellation is recorded immediately.
  • By email: send a request to cuenta@viupik.com from the address associated with your account, clearly stating that you want to cancel. We will process the request within a maximum of 2 business days.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation. We do not apply penalties or early-cancellation fees.

3. When the Cancellation Takes Effect

The cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to your subscription until that date, being able to continue using your available credits and all contracted features.

After the end of the period, no additional charge will be made. Your account will automatically move to the free plan or become inactive, as applicable, retaining access to your content under the terms described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Refund Policy

As a general rule, payments already made are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not generate a refund for the period already billed, since you retain access to the service until the end of that period.

Refunds are only considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge attributable to Viupik.
  • Prolonged technical inability to access the service caused by Viupik, for more than 20% of the billed period, and unresolved after a written complaint.

Refund requests must be sent to cuenta@viupik.com with supporting justification. We will respond within a maximum of 14 calendar days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through Stripe.

5. Inapplicability of the Right of Withdrawal

Viupik is marketed exclusively to professionals, self-employed workers, and businesses (B2B). Therefore, the 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal granted to consumers by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and by European consumer regulations does NOT apply to this contract, since the customer does not hold the legal status of consumer or user.

This inapplicability is expressly confirmed by the customer upon contracting, by accepting these Terms and confirming that they act in the exercise of their professional or business activity.

6. Credits Upon Cancellation

Credits included in your subscription (renewable each period) are not refunded or converted to cash upon cancellation. You may use them until the end of the billed period.

Credits purchased separately (one-off packs) do not expire upon subscription cancellation and you may continue using them while your account remains active.

7. Suspension for Non-Payment

In case of non-payment after the automatic charge attempt, Stripe will retry the charge over the following days. If payment is not completed, we will suspend access to paid features, keeping the account active for 30 days to allow regularization. After this period without payment, the subscription will be automatically cancelled.

8. Cancellation by Viupik

Viupik reserves the right to cancel or suspend subscriptions in cases of serious breach of the Terms and Conditions, fraudulent use, or unlawful activities. In such cases, no refund shall apply. We will notify the user by email beforehand, except when the severity of the facts requires immediate action.

9. Your Data After Cancellation

After cancellation we retain your account data for a maximum of 3 years due to legal obligations (tax, commercial), unless you request erasure under the GDPR. Generated content (projects, renders, presentations) is deleted within 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for further detail.

10. Changes to this Policy

Viupik reserves the right to modify this policy, notifying significant changes by email or platform notice at least 30 days in advance. Changes will not apply retroactively to subscriptions contracted before their entry into force.
